Your dock might have suffered some "injuries" with the kind of winter and spring we've had -- they can only withstand so much! Give Kip a call if you need a hand getting your dock summer ready.

What kind of a closet door works best for a nice tall closet with storage space up to the ceiling? You don't want the door design or the frame around it to give you trouble when you want to reach your stuff, right? At the same time, you want a closet door that looks good! Enter the "macgyvered" barn door, courtesy of Kip! (This is his first video, so show him you love it. )

Kip did the remodeling work for his own two bathrooms this winter. Check it out and, if you're thinking of a bathroom remodel, give him a call! Downstairs: This bathroom remained unfinished for four years -- it served a purpose while we worked on the rest of the house. Finally, this winter: new walls, new fixtures, new window, new floor, new shower, fresh paint ... and new toilet paper holder. LOL So worth it!... Upstairs: We didn't think we'd miss having a tub so we just built a large shower. We did miss it, and the new shower downstairs meant we could make some changes. While we were at it, we gave the whole room a facelift.

Deck project in Coboconk, a front and back full replacement. Glad to help before the snow flew. Thanks to Keli and Phonce Griffin for letting me share your photos!

Daniel James Marlatt, the artist behind the gorgeous Outdoor Art Gallery at the Miskwaa, had a bit of a problem back in the fall: those "ShelterLogic" tents only last so long and theirs was finished. They needed a stronger shelter with winter fast approaching. I built this carport to extend from the studio, putting it close to the house for easy access to both. It blends in with the surroundings nicely ... and looks far better than the tent ever did!
