Snowpile is really small now but still there - hard as granite underneath. So no winner to announce yet !

The snowpile is still there but it's finally shrinking.....could be another week or two - I will keep you posted as to the winner - yay spring rains!

What a wicked winter - for everyone! Theses photos give you some idea what a Whiskey Creek winter can look like. The second and third picture were taken 2 days ago - so my question to you is: when will that snowpile be completely melted? It is about 4 feet high but now the rains have started. The person with the closest guess wins a free a free nite's accommodation plus firewood! Take a guess..

The long weekend was great, lots of sun, lots of nice kids & dogs, and the usual group from Victoria with their ATVs - thanks to Dan Salmon and the gang - see you next time !
