Christopher has been commissioned to carve a raven with wings down. This will be the first raven he has carved which is strange because at the age of 14 he wrote a beautiful story about how a raven brought rain by dragging the clouds across the sky. While discussing the raven, we got talking about his carving of a blue heron and mine. You see, both mom and son are carvers but it was the son who taught the mom, not the other way around. :) Here are photos of his heron and mine.
