WEBPAGE AND UPCOMING REGISTRATION UPDATE NOVEMBER 26, 2020 The updated website changes have been completed and are online now. The COVID-19 Policies, January-February Gymnastics Classes and Dates sections are updated on the website. Before registering, please read over these updated sections on the Woodstock Gym Club’s website.... Once again, due to the current pandemic situation, we decided to continue the same program structure and same fee per hour for the January-February term. Online only registrations for the January-February gymnastics program starts on Monday December 7 at 1:30 pm and ends on Friday December 18 at 8 pm. Due to the coaching ratio with the current online registrations for the Nov. and Dec. term, at this time, we need to change the Monday and Friday 5:00 - 6:30 pm online time slots to having a maximum number of 28 enrollment (instead of the original 42). Please note there are a number of gymnastics openings still available in all of the days and time slots for this upcoming Nov. and Dec. gymnastics term (including the Monday and Friday class time slots mentioned above). GYMNASTICS ONTARIO INSURANCE FEE INCREASE - AUGUST 10, 2020 We have just received an update that the Gymnastics Ontario insurance fee has increased by $2.00 and will now cost $27.00. This Gymnastics Ontario insurance fee is charged once per gymnastics year (September 1 to June 30). This change will be made on the website and in the Amilia online registration portal.

REGISTRATION UPDATE AUGUST 6, 2020 Monday August 17 - Starting at 1:30 pm - Registrations for the September-October Gymnastics Program start. All registrations are processed online. Registrations will continue to be taken online until Thursday August 27 - Ending at 8:00 pm.... The new information and website changes have been given to the club’s Smashing Pixels web design company. As soon as they have made all the requested changes to the website, we will post another FB post to let everyone know.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE - JULY 21, 2020 We are happy to announce we will be offering a 2-month 5-17 age range gymnastics program starting in September now that the Community Complex will be opening. We are not able to offer classes for gymnasts under the age of 5 and Special Needs at this time.... We have also decided not to offer specific Competitive and Pre-Competitive classes during this term. There is no direction at this point about how meets will look for Competitive and the format of past Pre-Competitive meets will not meet public health guidelines. We want the Competitive and Pre-Competitive parents to know that everyone who comes to gymnastics will continue to work at the level they want to, the same as in the past. All the gymnasts will continue to work on skills and routines that challenge them. All gymnasts will be grouped based on their level and age, and every gymnast will be challenged. There will be an option on the online registration form for one friend request in your group. To remain in this program every gymnast who attends must be able to follow the new COVID-19 guidelines at all times to remain in this program. This information will be posted on the webpage. This 2-month program will start at the beginning of September and end at the end of October. Classes will be 1.5 hours in length. These classes will cost the same rate as last year which is $20.83 per 1.5 hour class, because the club’s staff is partially subsidized by the government at this time. Classes will run from 5-6:30 pm or 6:45-8:15 pm on weekdays for the 2-month term. You will not pay for the Monday Labour Day holiday in September and the Monday Thanksgiving holiday in October in the registration fee. You can sign up for 1 or more classes per week for this 2-month period. The ratio is maximum of 7 gymnasts per coach and a maximum of 6 groups in the gym at one time. Online registration will be in August. We will post the online registration start date on Facebook as soon as we can. We are working very mindfully to do our best to create the safest possible environment for the gymnasts and staff. As soon as we have the program and COVID-19 information written for the website and posted online we will put a post on Facebook. The online information will answer your questions. This post is intended to let everyone know that we will be offering a modified gymnastics program in September. Please give us time to have this program information and COVID-19 information prepared and put on the website. We will have all the information prepared for you to read as soon as we can.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE MAY 25, 2020 Due to the ongoing threat of Covid-19, we have decided that it is best to cancel the SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM. We feel that we cannot safely offer our camp program with the current proper physical distancing guidelines. Over the next couple of days, we will be processing refunds for the class fee as well as any membership fee that was charged specifically for the summer camp program. We will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation and are... planning for a return to gymnastics programming when it is safely possible. Over the next two or three days we will be processing refunds for the class fee as well as any membership fee that was charged specifically for the Spring term. PRE-COMPETITIVE and COMPETITIVE gymnastics payments are all currently on hold so no one will be billed until we can safely reopen.... We will continue to monitor the situation. IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE APRIL 3, 2020 All PROGRAMS In coordination with other children’s programs and schools in Woodstock, the Gymnastics Club will remain closed until at least May 4th. All PRE-COMPETITIVE and COMPETITIVE families are not paying monthly fees at this time. The club is in the process of refunding the families for the three quarters of a month of fees for the three weeks not attended in March. This is taking additional time since we had to wire transfer... funds from the club to Netbanx, who processes payments for Amilia, so that Netbanx can refund the amount owing to families. All SPRING TERM RECREATIONAL registrants will get a partial refund for weeks missed during the spring term. As soon as we know that the club will be closed until mid-June, we will refund the full amount of the spring term to all registrants. In the meantime, we are currently fully refunding any registrants who ask to receive a full refund for the spring term. Current update on STAFF: The club’s four-permanent staff: Gord, Mary, Jen and Shaun will continue to be paid for the next two-week period. The club needed to furlough all of the other part-time coaches until at least May 4th. This will let part-time coaches who are eligible apply for the CERB. Decisions like this are difficult to make, but we need to position ourselves for the best possible recovery when we return. It is so important for everyone to do social distancing at this important time. Hopefully the curve can get flattened soon, so it will not be so many additional months until we can all get back to a new normal life. Mary and Gord

RECREATIONAL PARENTS: We want to assure everyone that you will be refunded for all cancelled classes. We will process all recreational refunds as soon as we have more information about how long we will need to be closed. PRE-COMPETITIVE AND COMPETITIVE PARENTS: Since you all pay through a subscription structure, we found out from Amilia that we are able to change your subscription monthly fee to zero. We are going to change your subscription fee amount to zero for April.... This week we are also going to refund each Comp and Pre-Comp family the partial amount for March. You may receive an invoice for $0 from Amilia when the subscription completes in the Amilia system. If we end up opening part way through a month, we will be able to change the amount billed for the next month in Amilia to include the pro-rated fee for the partial month. As soon as we have more information, we will let you know. We hope things become clearer in the next week or so. In the meantime, please keep your distance and stay safe. Mary and Gord

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE MARCH 15, 2020 ALL PROGRAMS In coordination with the City of Woodstock the Gymnastics Club will now be closed effective Monday March 15 up to and including Sunday April 5. There will be no gymnastics classes during this closure. All City Recreational Facilities will also be closed during this period. There will now be no PRE-COMPETITIVE or COMPETITIVE classes over March Break as had been previously mentioned in our posts on Friday. Pre-Compet...itive and Competitive families who continue to pay monthly fees will now have three quarters of a month of fees credited to their credit card. This will be done once classes resume to avoid having to credit your account twice if the closure has to be extended. There will be no $50 admin charge for this refund due to this unforeseen circumstance. All SPRING TERM RECREATIONAL registrants will have two-weeks of fees credited to their credit card once gymnastics classes resume. All of the Woodstock Gymnastics Club’s PART-TIME COACHING STAFF will be paid for their regularly scheduled shifts during this three-week closure and will not be coming to coach. It is important that we do the right thing at this critical moment. Over the years, the gymnastics club has continued to set aside a reserve for an unforeseen emergency like this.

From March 22 to April 5 the Gymnastics Club will be closed to the public. There will be no classes running during this time. We are planning on being open starting on Monday April 6.... All recreational gymnasts’ families will have two weeks of fees credited to their credit card after we resume classes, to avoid having to credit your account twice if the closure has to be extended. Woodstock Gym Club COVID-19 Update for Pre-Competitive In coordination with the City of Woodstock we will be taking the following steps in light of the Covid-19 Virus containment effort. Classes for Pre-Competitive will run as normal up to and including Saturday March 21.... We ask that if your child or anyone in your home has any symptoms of illness that your child does not attend class during March Break week. From March 22 to April 5 the Gymnastics Club will be closed to the public. There will be no classes running during this time. We are planning on being open starting on Monday April 6. Everyone who continues to pay monthly will have half a month of fees credited to their credit card after we resume classes, to avoid having to credit your account twice if the closure has to be extended. There will be no $50 admin charge for this refund. We will update you further as things develop over the next few weeks. Hopefully our efforts will enhance everyone’s safety.
