SKIERS OF FREDERICTON! Please note that because of the pandemic, the Killarney Lake Lodge will not be open to the general membership. Although it will be open during organized programs, it will be restricted to members participating in those programs. Even then, the number of people who can be in the lodge at any given time will be limited pursuant to City of Fredericton guidelines. While we may see a few changes like this one to our ski season, one thing that won't c...hange is the energy and excitement we all have for cross country skiing on the beautiful trails of Killarney Lake Park and Kingswood/UNB Woodlot. GROOMER POST FOR KINGSWOOD/UNB WOODLOT TRAILS (posted Friday, January 1st) SNOW AT LAST! It looks like we’ll be getting 10-15cm tomorrow (Sat). It’s not a lot, but Rex is hoping it will be enough to go out with the roller just to get things packed down. Go ahead and ski anytime - before, during or after Rex goes out rolling. Don’t worry about leaving ruts - conditions won’t be good enough for it to make any difference..... Rock skis highly recommended! Coverage will be poor.
