We'll have to wait until Jauary 2021 to start the rink this season. Check with your friends and neighbours to see if they want to form a 3 person volunteer team to help once a week. Let's make this the best rink season ever!

WE'RE DONE FOR THE SEASON...REASON...NOT FREEZIN'

When I'm not volunteering to make community rinks I'm sitting at the drum kit for Glendale One. There's no cover tomorrow night. Come on by for some cold beer and hot tunes!

We're so sorry about the rink not being suitable for skating. These past 10 days have made it impossible to stay ahead of the dramatic swings in temperature and the precipitation.

This mild weather has suspended any rink making efforts until further notice!

We managed to salvage some of the rink. There will be a pleasure skating oval ready for family day. Thanks to Chris, Jerome and Dugald for coming out to help. #community

This is the most challenging year of the 17 years I have been making this rink. The combination of rain and show and the wild temperature swings are just about the worst combination you can have when making a natural rink. If everyone who have 15 minutes THIS Saturday MORNING can go the rink and just stomp around in your boots to flatten the rink surface we'll stand a chance of rebuilding it! SATURDAY MORNING COME STOMP DOWN THE LAYERS OF SNOW AND RAIN SO WE CAN FLOOD IT. THANK YOU!!!

We're on our way back! Flooded twice so far this weekend. Please be careful of the bumps. Some neighborhood boys vandalized the rink this week and we have a lot of repairs to do.
