It's been a long extremely hot day(our thermometer reading was 39C) went out to enjoy the cool evening breeze only to see lightening and hear thunder

With the heat, the dogs decided to be super heros inside.

We do our best to cohabitate with nature and looks like nature does not mind us too much. Sorry for the poor photos, we need you help in trying to identify what type of owl this is? We have our guess, but are not sure.
