Ok, so I'm getting to be very efficient at cleaning the many radiators in my house Each room has at least one radiator and some rooms have two or three. I've discovered that radiators are basically cozy, warm sanctuaries for dust to hang out. My best radiator cleaning weapons are: spraying disinfectant to dislodge the grime, wiping it off, vacuuming out the inside crevices, Swiffer-dusting to coax the cobwebs out, followed by more vacuuming.... Do you have any radiator cleaning techniques or stories? #robbhouse #sandycuccidesign #stratfordontario #stratford #cleaning #swiffer #dusting #vacuum #radiator #radiatorcleaning #cobweb #disinfectant #

So I'm working in the living room today while my office is painted Pretty much everything on the main floor has now been painted Chantilly Lace (Benjamin Moore) and it's lookin' GORGE Fresh, simple, clean and very low levels of colour-clutter. ... What's your favourite interior colour? How often do you switch it out? I'd to hear from you #robbhouse #sandycuccidesign #stratfordontario #stratford #perthcounty #chantillylace #benjaminmoore #benjaminmoorespotlight #officeathome #workfromhome #designer #decorate

Adventures In Demolition We're renovating part of the 2nd floor in our home to become a separate living suite. To enlarge the kitchen/ living space, we opted to take down a wall. It's kind of like opening a can of whoop-ass - with the added bonus of treasures to be found. 1. Our guy, Ralph, found that the demo-ed wall was actually original to the house and was held in place with these little square nails. We salvaged the beams and the super-wide baseboard trim for futur...e projects and I'm def keeping the little square nails. 2. This pic shows the supports that were temporarily installed to support the wall until the permanent beam was installed. 3. Sal and Ralph are working hard to get that beam up there and secure it. Go, guys! 4. The ceiling, it turned out, had previously been shortened to 8 feet high, and the wall space above the ceiling used to be part of this room before it was covered up. Here you can see the floral wallpaper above the ceiling that used to decorate this space. So cool, ay? I had to stand on a ladder and hold my phone above the current ceiling to get this shot. I these adventures in renovating and restoring this home, feeling the feels of this Grande Dame Robb House (who is kind of bossing us around). Please let me know what you think about floral walls, old wood and wide baseboards!

Lots of packages are being delivered as we set up our new (super-old) home. Here's a peek of the new entryway bench in the freshly painted front hall. More pics to come.... #robbhouse #stratfordontario #design #decor #nest #featherthenest #bench #entryway #comfy #glam #sandycuccidesign
