The Alberta Government announced yesterday that dental and wellness offices can begin opening as early as May 4th. While this is exciting news, we must continue to wait for guidance from our governing body, the Alberta Dental Association and College (ADAC), and the governing bodies for each Wellness provider. We are anticipating many changes in how our office will operate, including rules regarding physical distancing, what procedures we will be able to perform, new PPE requirements and more. Please bear with us as we await the regulations from the ADAC and the wellness governing bodies and work to reopen in the safest way possible for patients and staff. Thank you for your support.

At the recommendation of the Alberta Dental Association and College in an effort to help flatten the curve of COVID-19, Lifepath Dental and Wellness, will be closed effective March 18th, 2020 until further notice from our governing board. We will remain on call for emergencies only. To be clear, there has been no known exposure of the virus to our team or patients, however, we feel strongly it is our responsibility to protect our community; especially those who are most vuln...erable among us. We care deeply about your family’s health and safety and will remain available to provide emergency care as needed for true dental emergencies. If you have an appointment scheduled in the next several weeks, rest assured we will be contacting you to get your appointment rescheduled as soon as Alberta Dental Association and College deems it is appropriate to resume all other dental care needs. Effective immediately there is a mandatory suspension of all non-emergency dental care. In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the Alberta Dental Association and College has mandated closure of all dental offices in Alberta for non-emergent dental care until further notice. We at Lifepath Wellness will still provide emergency care for our patients. Emergency dental treatment may include treatment of oral-facial trauma, significant infection, prolonged bleeding ...or pain which cannot be managed by over the counter medication.
