It’s not about how many times you get knocked down, it’s how many times you get back up. My father, Chef Viji, used to talk about his retirement with such admiration. Last week, he said to me I’m not going anywhere, I want to be here on the other side of this. I want everyone to know we’re still here. I saw a fire in him that had only been mentioned to me in folklore by past employees, chefs and restaurateurs. The challenges we’ve faced this year have piled up, but our All...en’s family, including all our staff, friends and loyal patrons have helped us battle through. And we will continue the fight.... So join us on our newly covered patio. We’ve added more heaters, and we don’t plan on stopping there, expect more changes as we continue to adapt in these unforeseen times. Much love to you all. It’s been a tough week, however, we have some great news. As of today, we will be available for pickup (7 days a week) and delivery (5 nights a week) through Ambassador. Adapt has been the word of the year for us. Our dining room is closed, but our lovely patio now has heat! Thank you all for your tremendous support, we couldn’t imagine this year without it.

Great news! We will be reopening our backyard this Thursday for lunch, dinner and the foreseeable future. In order to increase safety, for the first time ever, we will be taking reservations for the backyard. Reservations can be made by phone. Please understand that as we’re getting everything set up in the next few days, our responses to your messages may take a little longer. Our goal is to make sure everyone has a safe and wonderful experience. Hope to see your lovely faces soon! (Note: Patio may appear different in real life, we know we’ll have to space these tables out. )

Father’s Day is this Sunday and we have a few specials for you! Please e-mail us ([email protected]) your order by Saturday at 3 PM. Include your name, phone number and pickup time. Our regular takeout menu is also available. No dad should have to cook on Father’s Day!

Two requests we’ve been receiving is regarding dessert offerings and opening for Takeout Wednesday. How about both? Beginning this week, we will be open on Wednesday and offering our Chocolate Guinness Cake for takeout or delivery.
