Anu Collective canceled this event. Hellooooo all you Gorgeous-ess. This is going to be a slightly long-winded post... but i am hoping you take these moments to read.... I am officially "cancelling' this MayOurRootsBeLong event. (In the capacity that it was promoted) I have been working all winter at preparing the groundwork to get this ANUCOLLECTIVE off the ground. Much of my focus has been laying the foundations to truly honor my vision. MayLong has come with a whirlwind o its own momenteum (partly from nostalgia, part my own expectations).. and i am waking up to the fact that my foundation isnt layed enough to make the gathering what i thought it could be or what it deserves to be. I havent had solid access to internet for more than a week..which adds to my stress and lack of organization. i want to prioritize my focus to be on my land and the gardens that Springtime is calling for and the infrastructure the vision is asking for. And I am still working out the team and support for the vision of ANU, and all of the logistics to make it not only possible,.. but sustainable. blahblah SO: here I am. Vunerable. Authentic. and expressing my needs. So even though i am cancelling this event page..... I still invite you to come to the farm for the Long Weekend.. as a guest. <3 Rainbow Style Kin Long Weekend Gathering. De-Commodified. <3 Come as you are. Ill show up as I am. Id still very much love to host you on this land. Share meals. Share our Stories and Songs. Maybe have a dance! No charge... just showing up in community vision and support.
