Al salmu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullh In light of recent developments in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the BCMA Board of Religious Services and the Executive Counc...il would like to advise the community regarding the following: 1. BCMA Centres/Mosques will remain open for Friday prayers but will limit their congregations to 250 individuals. To accommodate for those who are unable to join the first prayer, mosques have arranged for second and third prayers and will be limiting prayer durations to 15 minutes. Kindly comply with Mosque Management if asked to not enter the Mosque due to the mosque being at capacity; 2. Women, children, the elderly, and the sick are asked to stay at home and not join the Friday prayer. Friday prayers are not obligatory upon these individuals; 3. Effective immediately, all programs at all BCMA centers are suspended until the end of March. Mosques will remain open for the five daily salh only; 4. All individuals attending the Mosque are expected to maintain good hygiene and avoid all physical contact with other congregants. 5. The BCMA will keep the community updated as the situation evolves.
