In Luke’s gospel, characters keep breaking out in song as they anticipate the birth of the Messiah, Jesus! Come, and be filled with wonder and hope, as we step into a new sermon series this Sunday, November 29th.
Help us come alongside more families who are struggling in this season. Donate or drop off non-perishables to The Pantry. Follow the link to learn more about Cornerstone’s Food Pantry - https://cornerstonechurch.ca/pantry/
Christmas is coming! What’s your favourite part of this season?
Endure. Persevere. Keep going...in His strength. "More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5 ESV
Join Cornerstone's Executive Team as they reflect on where Jesus is leading the church in the year ahead. In spite of the challenges we've all been facing, he continues to call us forward in mission. What does God have in store for Cornerstone (and for you) in 2021? Sunday's at 11:00 am - live.cornerstonechurch.ca Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. - 1 Cor. 15:58 (NIV)

Pause...and worship.
Advent begins Sunday, November 29th. Join us in the candle lighting each week, please gather 5 candles: ~3 purple (Royalty) candles ~ 1 pink (Joy) ... ~1 white (Christ) candle The purple candles historically represent royalty and are reserved for Lent and Advent. Arrange the candles in a circle, placing the white Christ candle in the middle to represent the incarnation. If you wish, you can place a wreath or evergreen branches around the candles in a circle, which has no beginning or end. This circle arrangement reminds us of God, who is infinite as well as the everlasting life we find through Christ.
Join Cornerstone's Executive Team as they reflect on how Jesus has been powerfully at work among us in the midst of a challenging year. Through it all, he is shaping and preparing Cornerstone (and you!) for a purposeful and hope-filled future. Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. - Col. 1:27b (MSG) Sunday's at 11:00 am - live.cornerstonechurch.ca
