To clients coming to visit us from out of New Brunswick, please see below links : Please follow the following link re: the most recent mandatory order for NB: https://www2.gnb.ca///Corporate/pdf/EmergencyUrgence19.pdf The Chief Veterinary Officer of NB advises that you have a copy of this mandatory order for reference if you are asked when crossing the border. ... With regard to getting registered to cross the border, please see the following link: https://www.pxw1.snb.ca/snb9000/product.aspx Apparently each adult traveling with a pet must be registered to travel to NB. When booking your appointment with us, please ensure we have your most recent e-mail address so that we can provide you with an essential services letter. Please request this letter at the time of booking. Thank you for your patience during this challenging time.

CullenWebb will provide an Essential Services letter for all appointments considered to be essential / nonelective. Changes to travel rules outside New Brunswick... Effective midnight tonight, people travelling into New Brunswick, including all of the Atlantic provinces, are required to self-isolate for 14 days unless exempt. Registration for travel into New Brunswick, including New Brunswickers returning home from travel, is also now mandatory. Travellers must register at www.gnb.ca/travelregistration. Failure to register can result in penalties.

Important and useful information regarding COVID and pets...
The following are excerpts taken from an article Dr. Cullen wrote regarding commonly encountered inherited eye diseases in dogs. Although this was written in 2007, the information provided is still relevant today. Things that have changed include the eye certification registry for breeding dog eye exams (was previously CERF, now is CAER), and now there are many companies offering genetic screening for known mutations of various eye diseases (e.g. Embark Vet , Laboklin UK , Orivet Genetic Pet Care ). Importantly, however, these tests are for only known mutations - there are many diseases for which a known mutation is not known, and spontaneous mutations can occur at any time.
