Well we have been getting a lot of calls today about weather we will be aloud to continue to groom. And I am so relieved to state...YES! We are still aloud to offer grooming service to everyone! There will be some changes going forward so please take the time to read our new protocols. GROOMING RULES AND PROTOCOLS: It is curb side drop off and pick up please call the store or pop into our booth in the front door and let us know your here and I will come outside to meet you... All collars and leashes will stay with you, the owner, to minimize contact. We will put our own slip leash on your pup and ask you take their belongings home with you and bring back at pick up All pets must be on the ground at drop off to ensure a safe handover and to ensure a safe distance between us. All cats must be in carriers and we will sanitize the carriers before and after For the time being I will not be adding bows or bananas to prevent transmission risk If you have travelled in the last 2 weeks please wait to make an appointment If you or someone is ill or feeling ill, that you’ve been in close proximity with do not make an appointment or cancel any current appointments our nail nights will be canceled for now but will continue to offer nail trim services but appointment only Please please please be on time for your appointment. Our salon runs on a tight schedule and when you are late it puts the rest of the day late. Anyone 15 minutes late or no shows will have to be rescheduled to a different day and may result in a added fee on your next appointment. We encourage you to give us 24hr notice if you know you will not be able to make it. Thank you everyone for your support and I can’t wait to see your pets fluffy bums on my table! Kandace

Drop off update We will be asking everyone to drop off their pet at our back door. Last night I broke a bone in my foot so I’m not able to walk far distances. I will be getting help from the staff to make sure I can still groom with this injure. So I just ask please we patient with me it may take a little longer to groom your pet as I’m a little slower. And I may need to take breaks during grooms. There is a entrance to behind our building between CIBC and Canadian Tire. Please give us a call to let us know you are here and I will meet you at our back door. Upon pick up you will just be going to the front door to pay and one of our staff will bring your pup up to you. Thank you for everyone’s understandable

Just a reminder our nail trim clinic is tonight from 2pm-7pm let’s get your pups nails clipped just in case we get closed down. I will updated everyone once we know for sure if we will be closing our salon. Good news!! We will resume regular grooming practices as of February 16th!! We have rebooked all of our cancelled appointments and can move forward booking our regular clients that want to get in as well as new clients! If you have any questions feel free to call or message us. Please be patient with us as the phone has been ringing off the hook! *Reopening Update* Hey everyone it’s that time! I’m so excited!!! We are officially aloud to reopening grooming with curb side up and drop off! Please we patient with me as I go through our list and call everyone on it to book. I will only be booking right now off that list so if you pet is not on that list please call and get on it! At this time every service is by appointment only we will not be able to take walk in nails so if your pet needs just their nails done make sure to get on the list and let the girls know they just need their nails done. **Covid Update** We unfortunately don’t have a date from the government yet. There are a couple of different provincial orders floating around which is creating confusion for everyone, including us. From what I understand, and I could be off by a day or two, but the stay home order ends on the 9th and the provincial shutdown ends on the 19th both of those dates could change at any moment, as we’ve seen happen before, which is why we’re not booking any appointments until w...e have an actual announcement from the government of Ontario. For the time being we are creating a wait list at the store for when we open back up I will be calling everyone on the list and booking first appointments from that list. Our closure is currently tied to the provincial shut down so unless that changes, we can’t operate the salon portion of our store until that shutdown is lifted. We’ve heard from a few of our clients that they’ve heard through the grapevine that some municipalities are being given permission to groom dogs, but until we have actual permission to open the salon with no fear of repercussions, we will not open the salon. Trust me when I say that I want to be open just as much as you want us to be open! I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love, and I really wish we could just fast forward to that day. I do believe the government is doing their best to keep their attention where it needs to be and to prioritize the health and well being of our citizens above all. We can’t fault them for that. So many families in our community have been affected by this virus. We’re keeping that in perspective while we patiently wait for the green light to resume business. Just a friendly reminder to brush your babies during lockdown. Here is a guideline of the most important areas to brush first! As of right now we are looking to reopened middle of February. Please call the store (519)602-6030 to be put on our wait list for when we reopen. Pets on the list will have the next available appointment first. Please do not wait until we reopen to make an appointment. You will be waiting way longer than usual.

COVID UPDATE! Well, it looks like it’s official. It breaks my heart to say this but pet groomers have been removed from the list permitting us to stay open... As of December 26th we’ll be shut down until further notice. We will once again begin a wait list for when we are able to reopen. All appointments booked in January will be cancelled and I will be calling to reschedule once we are allowed to open. Those already booked will have first available appointments. Home groomi...ng is essential during lock down here are some tips to help maintain your dog: #1. Brush brush brush! Make sure you are brushing regularly to prevent any matting in your pets coat. Using a slicker brush and finish off with a metal tooth comb. (Please let me know if you need demonstrations) #2. To keep up with your pets nails take them for daily walks around your neighborhood on harder surface like the sidewalk. This is not only great exercise for your pet but will allow their nails to grind down naturally prolonging their nails needing to be clipped until we open. #3. If you do decide to bath your pet at home I would recommend using an oatmeal shampoo and conditioner. Now water and moisture does cause tangles/mats to form so I will encourage you to properly brush your pets out afterwards. #4. For ear cleaning I recommend a cotton ball and pet ear cleaner (which you can pick up curb side at our store). Dampen the cotton and LIGHTY wipe out your pets ear. Making sure not to dig into the ear canal. #5. If your pet is prone to watering eyes, use a warm, damp cloth and lightly wipe their eyes daily. This will help avoid any build up and crust to form. #6. Please avoid using scissors/clippers on your pet. It can be dangerous and may result in an expensive vet visit. If your dog requires immediate attention call your veterinary clinic. Our store will remain open during lock down with curb side pick up. If you are in need of any of the tools/products I have mentioned as well as any other pet essential; food, treats, leashes, collars etc. We would really appreciate your support in helping our family business. If we have learned anything this year, its that we would not be able to open our doors everyday and serve you with a smile if it wasn’t for this amazing community. We want to thank everyone for their amazing support and kind words at this time.
