‘The Carbon Footprint Felt Round the World’ Shot this last winter, in #Churchill #Manitoba, this image remains very personal and deeply impactful to me. After the privilege of spending a week tracking and documenting these incredible animals, my appreciation for our #polarbears grew deeper than I ever imagined. We watched helplessly enamored by their instinctive drive to migrate back across the #Hudsonbay in search of nourishment once again. We witnessed countless of failed... attempts to cross the unfrozen water, as the Lightly crusted Bay waters flirted with them. The cautious attempts or sported as one after another they would breach the surface and then struggle to pull their week hungry carcasses back up to the surface. We are not alone on this planet and Our actions will not be without consequence. But we can change.
