Congratulations Lizz! Lizz has been around the auto industry her entire life. She grew up following her dad around all the shops he worked in, all around Saskatoon, before eventually ending up in Prince Albert. She spent many evenings running around the detail bay of Lakeland Ford since she was just 8 years old, learning everything there is to know about detailing a car. At the age of 17 she moved to Edmonton, Alberta where she worked in a fast paced detail shop, before worki...ng her way up into sales. From there, she moved into the dealership industry, where she landed a job as the Detail Manager at Waterloo Ford. She spent a total of 5 years in Alberta, before moving back to Prince Albert to raise her son, who is almost 7. Lizz started with Lakeland Ford 6 years ago in our detail department. After a few years, she made the switch over to Service Advisor and she was grateful for the opportunity to have met so many fantastic clients over the years. Lizz has recently accepted the position of Warranty Administrator and will continue to help our service customers, but in a different way. Nothing but the best attire from our man Kelly! We call this outfit the Canadian Winter Tuxedo. However, let's get back to the real point of this post. After a month of driving the Ford Ranger for us, Kelly Taylor gave us his honest feedback! The Ford Ranger is the perfect vehicle for someone who needs a truck, but hauls a lot miles on the highway and doesn’t wanna pay a ton on gas. I found the one possible downfall to be a saving grace. I wasn’t sure about the short box, b...ut when I got home I realized a long box wouldn’t have fit in one side of my garage. So with the shorter box I could fit it in, and in reality it’s not really a short box because you have the option to lower tailgate and make into a full size with the box extender. I am excited to try all the Ford vehicles, but I can say for my lifestyle of living on an acreage and making my living on the highway, and also add our weather, the Ford Ranger is the perfect vehicle for me. On Friday, October 16th two of our salespeople tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. We have subsequently sanitized all work areas and, to ensure public safety, the entire sales team has been isolating at home and are following all recommended guidelines from the Saskatchewan Health Authority. We are open for business and cooperating with the contact tracing investigation currently underway committed to keeping our customers informed in the interest of public health. Sup...plementary sales personnel are on site, following SHA protocols while available/accessible to our customers. We will remain vigilant in our effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
