My guide, Michel Chasse with my second fish this morning, a Grilse and an 18 pound salmon. I was done fishing in an hour, caught my limit. The fishing gods smiled upon me today. Life is good! Tough to beat, a great day salmon fishing!

The DNR has announced today that Fly Fishing morning and evening is back on the Restigouche starting today! Le DRN a annoncé aujourd’hui la réouverture de la rivière Restigouche pour la pêche les matins et les soirs à compter d’aujourd’hui!

All NB crown land and those in the Restigouche area are closed du to extreme dry weather condition. No fire, no fishing, no boating so, like all fishing lodges on the Restigouche River, the Larry’s Gulch Lodge is close until further notice. Les terres de la couronne du NB et celles situées dans le Restigouche sont fermées à cause de conditions extrêmes de sécheresse. Pas de feu, de canot ou de pêche et comme les autres lodges de pêche au saumon, le Pavillon Larry’s Gulch est fermé jusqu’à nouvel ordre.

First group this year, and first salmon of 2020, a nice 42 inches caught on a Rusty Rat last night. Our clients from NB caught 3 nice salmon last night and saw many more. Hello anglers, As restrictions begin to relax, we are preparing to accept fly fishermen here at Larry’s Gulch lodge Be a tourist in your province this summer! The tourism industry in NB, and coastal communities really needs your support!... Covid-19 precautions We are accepting only 8 anglers per trip this summer, one per boat and one per cabin. We will have hand washing/sanitizer stations setup and will be cleaning/disinfecting areas twice a day and in between groups! We ask our clients to bring your own mask/scarf/face cover if they need it. If you would like to plan a fishing trip for Atlantic fishing on the Famous Restigouche River into the 2020 summer, we still have prime dates available!
