Can't wait to see what 2021 has in store for us! #hiptoo #newyear
Looking forward to better times in 2021. Happy New Year to everyone!
We would like to wish all of you a very Happy and Safe Christmas. We hope you all made Santa's Nice list but we know there are a few of you out there who are a little Naughty. Merry Christmas everyone!
It's a very unique year for sure, but we hope you all have a safe and happy Christmas Eve!
There could be a lot of grievances for 2020. Happy Festivus everyone! #festivus #hiptoo
We have ours ready for tomorrow, how about you?
A little Gord Sinclair to start your day!
These seem fitting for 2020.
Wondering what the members of the Hip are doing to keep busy?
We have always done our best to be responsible and try to look out for others, so keep an eye out for this during the holiday season. #hiptoo #safechristmas
Tell us your favorite and maybe we will play it at our next performance! #hiptoo
Can't wait until we can get back to Happy Hour! #hiptoo #happyhour #tragicallyhip
Happy Hanukkah to all our fans who celebrate! Here is to the first of 8 crazy nights!
May have to get some picks made like this.
I'm thinking about changing my hairstyle. Anyone remember if Bobbie Baker ever styled his hair like this? #haircut #tragicallyhip #hiptoo
We are always fresh!
We want to wish our very own Paul Langlois a very Happy Birthday! Keep rocking Rob and have a great birthday!
Unfortunately with the rise of Covid in the Brant area, we have made the difficult decision to cancel and reschedule our show for the 12th at the Marvelous Lounge. People who have already purchased tickets will be refunded. This was a very difficult decision but we have to make sure we are doing the responsible thing and help to slow this second wave. Stay tuned for more events in the future as we get Covid under control and back to some more normalcy.
If you want to experience the closest thing to the Tragically Hip, then you must get out and see Hip Too! #hiptoo #tragicallyhip #tribute
Definitely makes it easier for us to understand!
We want to say a huge thank you to the amazing crowd last night at Twisted Arm Restaurant Bar in Sarnia. What a great night at an amazing bar! #hiptoo #greatnightout #thetragicallyhip

Tomorrow night, who is excited? I know we are!
Are you ready to feel something Saturday night Sarnia! We can't wait!
This is just in Toronto, most other cities have been hit in some way too. The whole food and entertainment sector is going to have a long recovery. https://www.tastetoronto.com//covid-19-permanent-restauran
Did someone say drum solo... #hiptoo #drumsolo
Coivd has been a wreaking ball to the music industry. Call The Office is another casualty to this pandemic. Unfortunately CTO is just one in a long line of iconic venues to be forced to close their doors. I'm sure you all know of great places that had to shut down. We, as bands, are watching our places of employment close at an alarming rate. We don't know what the answer is, we only know that when this pandemic is over, we will all be looking at a very different landscape. We hope for a end to this virus so we can all get back to supporting our local venues and the bands that play them, while indulging in a little bit of Rock n Roll!
Just a little teaser....see you Saturday Sarnia at the Twisted Arm Restaurant Bar!
I was trying to find the words for this but it speaks for itself.
Not totally wrong....
Can't wait for this project to be released. No idea when, but it will be awesome! https://exclaim.ca//the_tragically_hip_reunite_with_origin
It's been tough since Covid hit for both venues and bands. Venues have definitely taken a big hit with the overhead they carry and loss of revenue. Musicians have lost the majority of their revenue for the year as well which takes its toll on the professionals out their making a living grinding through the clubs. We don't know what the answer is but we do know, when it's is safe, we need to support our local venues and the acts that play them!
It's as close to new Tragically Hip music as we can get. Take a listen! https://www.cbc.ca//gord-sinclair-reworks-unreleased-tragi

The world could use a little more Gord today!
From the personal vinyl collection of Gord Downie. I wonder if Johnny ever listened to The Hip???
Bob Marley, Axl Rose, and Gord Downie, three icons of their day. Three very different artist with very different personalities, but they do have one thing in common. Do you know what that is?
While doing some research on The Hip, it seemed like the number 17 kept coming up over and over again. So, I searched the old Google and found this and thought it needed to be shared: Off of 1991’s Road Apples, Fiddler’s Green tells the story of Downie’s sister and the son she lost on September 17th. October 17, 2006, the Hip release their 10th studio album, World Container. Eleven years to the day later, Downie would pass away.... June 17, 2016, the Hip release what would would become their final record, Man Machine Poem. They would embark on a national tour weeks later, with their final show being broadcast live to 11.7 million viewers across the nation. Long Time Running, the film documenting the band’s Man Machine Poem tour, was released on September 13, 2017 but on September 17, it was named as First Runner Up for TIFF’s People’s Choice Award for Documentaries. October 17, 2017, the Hip announced their partnership to produce their own strain of cannabis, something Gord was fond of. And then, on the evening of October 17, Gord passed away surrounded by his family. The band released a statement the following day. [https://www.sonic1029.com//gord-downie-significance-17th-/]
