After some introductory abnormalities, they begin planting things in the sand for strangers to find. This quick cursory description only begins to describe the magical surreal world conjured by filmmakers Alexandra Kotcheff and Hannah Leder. The two not only wrote, directed and star in this dark comedy, but they also cast and handled the location scouting and production design of the feature film. This unconventional collaboration has created a one-of-a-kind cinematic landscape. Peppered with oddball characters, unique locations and a strange world view, THE PLANTERS celebrates all that is odd in the world and creates a unusual world all its own. A very chilly christmas is out now! From feudal oldies to newer holiday pop canon, A very chilly christmas surveys a broad scope of seasonal repertoire and sentiment. There’s grandeur and solemnity, there’s austerity and merriment, an original featuring Feist and covers featuring Jarvis Cocker. And, of course, there’s Mariah Carey. As a whole, the album’s gift is the space it creates for quieter moments amid the flurry and noise of the season.

On a pris quelques jours de repos mais on est de retour pour vous dire un énorme MERCI!!! Merci profondément à tous ceux et celles qui ont assisté aux spectacles en salles et regardé les événements en direct sur lefunhouse.ca. À tous ceux qui ont vécu des moments d'émotion avec nous et apporté leur soutien et positivité en ces temps si particuliers. Ça nous a fait chaud au coeur et on aurait pas pu y... arriver sans vous. Nous sommes tellement heureux (et très chanceux) d'avoir pu profiter de ces moments si précieux avec vous et de faire revivre et rayonner l'art de notre communauté. Ce fut une édition bien spéciale et sans doute mémorable pour plusieurs raisons.
