MASCNE (Mask Acne) This is truly a thing and if you are experiencing it you are not alone! About a month and a half ago I had a client who of our clinic come in to meet with me after some correspondence through IG. She was completely discouraged by the acne she was experiencing due to multiple hours in a mask for her job. Her once clear skin had completely changed. She was very hesitant to move forward with something new because she had tried so many things, including ov...er the counter and physician prescribed treatments. When I saw her in person her face was raw (no pictures) from the doctor’s topical solution script of a combined antibiotic and benzoyl peroxide cream. She at this point not only had the acne she had previously sent pictures of, she also had skin that was sore, agitated and at risk for infection. I told her to stop everything and just cleanse with Cetaphil and use an over the counter antibiotic cream to help heal her skin for a week and then come back for a treatment plan. Again, she was very unsure and had spent a ton of money on other avenues which had not worked. I felt awful for how low she was feeling about the state of her skin and feeling helpless but I knew we could fix it. I offered to incur some of the cost and asked her to trust me. We are excited to start seeing you again June 10th! * This week we will be open for cosmetic injections. Next week we will begin laser hair removal and Hot Sculpting treatments. We are still NOT allowed to do any facial services which comprises the majority of our business. As a result, we will be open for limited days and hours until we can get back into the full swing of our service menu.... * All clients coming into the clinic must pre-arrange a time, even for product pick up. Please DM, text, email or call to reserve your time. Please remain in your car and call us when you arrive and we will come to you to bring you into the clinic. Masks must be worn into the clinic. Forehead temperature checks will be done upon arrival. Wash your hands and we will take you to your treatment room. You will then be cashed out on your own. Please sanitize your hands before leaving. Treatment rooms will be fully sanitized in between each client. Your service provider will be in scrubs, gloves, masked, protective eyewear and face shield when required.
